Industrial Logistics Center: 20,000 SQM Highly-Elastic UV-Reflective Roof Renovation

A massive regional logistics fulfillment hub suffered from severe water ingress along concrete expansion joints, combined with excessive internal heat loading during peak summer months, pushing its HVAC energy bills to unsustainable levels.

The project was executed utilizing our Highly-Elastic UV-Reflective Elastomeric Roof Waterproof Coating. Backed by an elongation at break exceeding 400%, the fluid-applied layer bridged the shifting structural cracks seamlessly. Furthermore, the formulation incorporated microscopic hollow glass-ceramic beads, delivering an elite solar reflectance index (≥ 105 SRI).

Rooftop surface temperatures dropped dramatically by up to 22°C post-application, significantly cutting the facility’s cooling energy costs. The aliphatic acrylic network provided complete UV photostable protection, extending the structural roof asset lifecycle by an estimated 15 years without expensive tear-off costs.
