It utilizes a water-carrier system to aggressively wick deep into the capillary tracts of the concrete slab. Once penetrated, it cross-links and hardens, permanently sealing microscopic pores, locking down loose concrete dust, and creating an impenetrable, monolithic foundation. This ensures that subsequent topcoats achieve maximum mechanical and chemical bonding without the risk of osmotic blistering or delamination.

Untreated concrete acts like a rigid sponge, constantly drawing air and moisture from the earth below. If a thick industrial topcoat is applied directly to this porous surface, trapped air is forced upward, causing destructive "pinholes" and bubbles in the final finish. Q1: Why can't I just save time and apply my heavy-duty epoxy topcoat directly to the bare concrete?
